# Giveety

> Giveety is a digital platform that connects volunteers ("Contributees") with social, environmental, cultural and educational organizations (tagline: "empowering humanity"). It certifies every volunteer engagement through certificates, badges and experience points so volunteering becomes a recognized learning path. Operated by Association tech-id, a Swiss non-profit founded in 2020 in Geneva by Caroline Kant.

## What Giveety does

Giveety is a federating platform structured around three pillars:

1. **Engagement** — Contributees (volunteers) discover and sign up for missions across associations and foundations active in environment, education and culture, social solidarity and more. The directory is searchable by organization, project or activity.
2. **Reconnaissance et Valorisation** — every completed mission produces formal certifying documents (Certificats, Attestation Giveety) that surface the technical and human skills exercised. Volunteers earn badges and experience points that can be valued professionally — by recruiters or training organizations.
3. **Tableau de bord** — a dedicated member space centralises planning, registrations, mission history, certifying documents and badges. A built-in messaging system and smart notifications keep volunteers and organizations in sync without flooding their inbox.

For organizations (Managers), Giveety simplifies the volunteer-management workflow: mission creation, planning, publishing announcements, recruiting Contributees, validating participations and issuing certificates. The platform is co-developed with partner organizations to fit real operational constraints.

## Audiences

- **Contributee** — individual volunteers. Free accounts. Search and book missions, track engagement, collect certificates.
- **Manager** — association / foundation staff. Publish missions, manage volunteer rosters, issue certifications.
- **Organization** — public-facing profile pages surfaced through `/find-an-organization`.
